The Future of Risk Management

Risk management is going back…to the future!

During the Victorian gold rush in the 1850s, risk events such as a cave in, disease and theft were all to frequent. Whilst we have learned from the past, what will risk management look like in the near future? And what is the psychology of risk?

We are going back to the gold rush days at Sovereign Hill in Ballarat to bring you a unique perspective of risk management in the past, present and future. In just half a day we will cover:
  • Risky experiences on the goldfields and how it compares today
  • A hands-on risk assessment of the sovereign Hill outdoor museum
  • An underground presentation on the psychology of risk from risk futurist, Sam Zimmerman
This is an exclusive opportunity to learn the latest in risk management thinking and to share your risk expertise with colleagues and the Sovereign Hill Museum.

Lunch is included, as is a tour of the mine and time to explore this fantastic memorial to Victoria's golden past.
You may never again enjoy an underground risk presentation, and as places are limited, don't wait to register for this great event!

Registration commences at 9.30am.
Lunch is included.
